PLOT: A Monster Calls Movie 2016

The mother of 13-year-old Conor O'Malley is dying of cancer, and Conor have nightmares. In her recurring dream she was trying to pull a terrifying monster with his mother in a well, and Conor edge to try to keep my hands. Not that we know this first. This dream is actually the thing to wait for the book to find out. Conor never sleeps, wakes up in exactly seven minutes after midnight. So if you wake up one night and it's a monster outside your bedroom window, you might think that it would have been terrified. But he cannot wait to try Conor, so it is quite impressed.

This monster spends his days as a yew tree in the churchyard behind his house, but at night it turns into a horrible tree creature with skin made of leaves and bark sheets for teeth. But Conor is not afraid, because the monster in your dreams is much more frightening, at least until the rate standard requires the scariest of all: the truth about Conor nightmare.

But first tell monster Conor three stories of three separate nights. Even if they seem a bit "like fairy tales, and proves to be bad, and vice versa. And there is a sinister twist: if the test tells stories, Conor one act of his life, he realizes what he has done after the sample has disappeared. A door to destroy it in the living room of his grandmother, and get a classmate hit hard as the child goes to the hospital with broken bones and teeth. Speaking of cancer, last chemo was desperate doctor Conor's mother did not test. It is a drug called Taxol (even if no one), and is made of the speed. Conor believes that this must mean that the test has come to heal his mother, but that is not the case, of course. 

Unfortunately Conor virtually deny the fact that his mother is dying, and encourage denial do for their parents to pretend that all is well. They still claim so far shows that only a few hours. That night, the monster intervenes because someone has this child need to see to help light.

Our favorite human yew changes the backyard family in the world of nightmare Conor. As in the dream, see Conor, his mother stood beside the rock, and looks grab feet nightmare monsters and try to pull down the well. Conor runs and grabs his hands, but the monster hole too strong for him, Conor fell. It will do anything to hold on, but in fact they just want to finish. And now we know that it is a horrible person to be punished.

But the total sample is to be maintained, it is not so simple. People are complex, can be both good and bad at the same time as the stories beings. Finally, there is a moral: sometimes when caring for someone who is away for so long, it's good to let go. In fact, you have to do.

Since one of the most tear-inducing scenes in every book ever makes the monster its branches in a nest that Conor can be blocked. It wakes up just in time to go to the hospital and take care of her mother when she dies, although the book is short ends before actually happens, we know it happens to 24:07.
